We didn’t know what would happen when we published the first novel in our journey in 2013. We wanted to tell a story that would make science more fun. Five years later. . . We were blown away by the discovery that science is a passion for many people.

The Sassafras Twins travel the globe learning science through each of the Sassafras Science books. As they travel through each science area, the twins meet experts from local communities who help them to understand it.
To get the most out of this journey, we recommend you read them in order. We suggest you start with zoology. If animals are not your thing, you may still enjoy the book. We will review key points in the first chapter.
You can read the Sassafras Science Advents books aloud from K to 5 or independently for 5th grade.
